- They want to manage the mod themselves, or with their mod manager.

In this tutorial I will show you how to obtain manual control of the
Steam Workshop Skyrim mods, and how to install them with Nexus Mod Manager.

How Do You Download Steam Workshop Mods

  • Two Workshop link shortcuts for your browser, which link to the most used Workshop pages

  • A .batch file, which (hopefully) finds and opens the Skyrim Data folder for you

  • A short comic (6 pics..) made by me with Paint.NET and pictures from google, which is just there for the lulz

Please don´t use Nexus Mod Manager to download my tutorial package.
Instead, manual download it here.
Then unpack the package to your desktop
by using an archive program like 7zip or Winrar.
To open the .PDF you will need a .pdf reader, like this one.

Hopefully this will be useful to some of you. :)

Where do the files downloaded from Steam Workshop go?

Download Steam Workshop Without Ste…

It should be in /Warband/Modules, right? But it's not there.

Checkout the lyrics below. Rihanna we found love mp3.

I've always played Warband via Steam but it's the first time I download mods from Workshop, since the mod (Warwolf) has to be downloaded from Workshop.

I notice when Steam is downloading the mod, it only downloads half of the complete files. I.e., Warwolf is supposed to be around 1 GB, but Steam only download 431 MB. Same goes when I tried with other mod (Gekokujo): it's around 700 MB but Steam only download 285 MB. (pic here)

What does it download actually, and where the files go?
